Pupils given masterclass by Amy Boulden
A pair of our budding golfers received a masterclass from a Ladies European Tour superstar.
Niall Richardson and Callan Earle were part of the school’s short game area opening, which was officially opened by Ladies European Tour star Amy Boulden on Wednesday, November 18.
Boulden was presented with a plaque to mark the opening before giving a short game master class with pupils and taking part in a question and answer session.
The 22 year-old LET Rookie of the Year in 2014, said: “It was a great day and I am very impressed with the facilities here at Rydal Penrhos.
“Learning and improving your short game is something that I feel is essential, as it is probably the hardest part of the game to master, and giving pupils the chance to practice it on a regular basis will be a huge benefit for them.
“It is fantastic that Rydal Penrhos is promoting young golfers and allowing them a platform to develop their game, and there aren’t many short game facilities at golf courses that are better than this.”
