The Beau Soleil Maths Competition took place recently and it was a great event in which 11 schools from all over Switzerland participated. Unfortunately, Beau Soleil's teams were not able to get on to the podium this time but the event was, nonetheless, a great success with all participants having had lots of fun and having had to engage their brains to solve some really tricky Maths problems!
As part of the event we were able to raise 950 CHF which we will be donating to local causes.

After the IGCSE exams are over, as part of their Pre-IB course, Grade 10 students will be visiting Greece on a CAS Trip. As part of the IB, students have to show commitment to activities that cover Creativity, Action and Service (CAS). This trip to Greece will get them off to a flying start, with a range of activities from photography around the ancient Acropolis of Athens, to learning about the local food and culture on Zakynthos and exciting water sports on the island of Santorini. The itinerary is jam-packed with activities that will give them a true taste of the IB Spirit and plenty of opportunity to log their activities in anticipation of starting their IB courses in September
