Foreword from the Acting Head
Mr McDuff
Welcome to November’s Newsletter. A month where winter starts to rear its face but nevertheless a month where the warmth of our school community shines through.
Nowhere more is this seen than at our Remembrance Service. Pupils, staff and a number of parents came together to remember the many former pupils who paid the ultimate sacrifice in order to preserve our freedom.
The Last Post was played brilliantly, silence kept, Reveille called and names remembered.
Wreaths were laid and individual memorial crosses placed under the mulberry tree.
Many thanks go to all who took part in ensuring that we kept our promise that ‘When You Go Home, Tell Them Of Us And Say, For Their Tomorrow, We Gave Our Today.’ May they rest in peace.
