Festive concert showcases talent
Gifted musicians have been praised for their efforts at the annual Christmas Concert.
A large group of pupils and staff, together with the school’s Community Choir, thrilled the audience on Tuesday, December 6, which is one of the most prominent dates on the calendar.
In addition to the group performances, there were a number of exceptional displays from the likes of Alicia Zhou, Arthur Hind and National Eisteddfod winner Tegid Goodman-Jones.
Upper sixth pupil Nick Dundee performed a spectacular version of the chart hit Iris, with Vincent Kohm and Niamh Cook also catching the eye with their respective contributions.
The second half of the concert was equally as entertaining, with Linda Wang, Richard Wolfendale and Charlotte Owen all producing marvellous musical efforts.
The concert concluded with performances from the community and senior choirs, before every performer and audience member joined in a series of carols to send everyone home with plenty of festive cheer.
