Trio spend week with Year 6
Three pupils from China spent the academic week with us during this half term, where they were integrated fully with the Year 6 group during their stay.
They were able to sample life on a different continent and enjoyed a wide range of lessons including music, science and drama.
The visitors received honorary prefect badges from Mr McDuff at the weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, February 3, in addition to Stars of the Week certificates.
Also receiving acknowledgement were Jonathan Osbourne, Laurence Richardson, Llion Morris, George Watkins and William Tavernor, who were tasked with making the school’s Chinese guests feel as welcome as possible.
This is the latest in a series of visits from foreign countries at both our senior and prep establishments.
Mr McDuff, said: “The three pupils have travelled thousands of miles to be with us, and although things are very different here, they have been brilliant throughout their stay.
“I would also like to thank our Year 6 group for making them feel right at home here at Rydal Penrhos, and we are delighted that two of them will be staying for a longer period.”
