Pupils remember loved ones
Year 4 Art pupils were given the task of producing a thoughtful Memory Box relating to a special occasion, person or time in their life.
This project provoked a great deal of thought from each pupil, with some brilliant final results which ranged from everything to a Zoo, Sonic the Hedgehog or lost loved ones that had sadly passed away.
Mrs Morris praised the overall standard of the boxes, but singled out Violet Roberts for special acknowledgement for her emotional creation with the Artist of the Week honour, which was presented to the nine-year-old at Celebration Assembly on Friday, June 23.
Mr McDuff, said: “Some of the work was incredibly moving and all credit goes to our wonderful pupils for their time and effort into making such beautiful memory boxes.
“The boxes were very varied but each represented a significant memory, fun-filled activity of landmark occasion in our pupils’ lives, and the time and effort they put into this and every project they dedicate themselves to is really quite extraordinary.
“Well done to all on their fabulous efforts and to Mrs Morris for once again delivery an outstanding project.”
