Foreword from the Headmaster
What an emotional end of term it has been.
We have said goodbye to an amazing Year 6 group (and you can read of their many achievements in this newsletter) along with a small number of children in other years.
We don’t shed tears for what the future will bring – we are all excited about that – but rather for the passing of good times.
Rydal Penrhos is a place filled with ‘good times’ and this combined with children achieving some of the top results in the country makes it a very special place.
So what makes it so? Simply, the people.
Pupils, parents, governors, and colleagues all work together for the good of the children. Discretionary effort, going that extra mile, delighting in all that one does, and revelling in seeing children flourish are distinctive traits of our school.
I have spent seven very happy years here but now move further afield. Colwyn Bay and its environs played an enormous part in my childhood and student days and now it has become a significant part of my career.
Thank you to you all for helping make it so special. May God bless you all in the future.
