Pupils achieve ABRSM grading success
Seven pupils achieved various levels of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music grades, and they all received their certificate at a school assembly on Monday, September 11.
Gifted vocalist Zahra Shamsi managed to secure a Distinction in her Grade 5 Singing assessment, with Year 10 pupil Emma Hourihane also achieving the same mark at the exact same level of difficulty.
Another to be awarded a Grade 5 singing Distinction was Arthur Hind, and all three will now begin working hard in the hope of further recognition in the future.
Others to gain certificates were Niamh Hall, who passed her Grade 4 singing exam with a merit, with Shruthi Ganapathi also presented with a merit for her outstanding effort during her Grade 4 Piano grading.
Bella Rutherford earned a Distinction for her Grade 2 Cello assessment, and Naina Babbar rounded off the triumphs with success in her Grade 1 Music Theory.
