FASTER, HIGHER, STRONGER: this year, our students challenged themselves physically and mentally, with spectacular results both on and off the mountain.
Our high expedition programme enabled more than 100 students to summit the Dents du Midi, the Dent de Morcles, the Pigne de la Lé, the Wildstrubel Glacier, and the Wildhorn
13 Junior School students summited the Dents de Morcles as part of the first ever Junior School high expedition
7 students and 2 teachers participated in the world-renowned Engadin Skimarathon, competing in both the 17km night race followed by the full 42km marathon the following day
8 students joined the Alpine Development Squad, training year-round to develop their ski racing skills
At the British Schoolboys’ Ski Championships, our A team came first (for the sixth consecutive year) and our B team came second
At the SGIS Ski Championship, our students swept the field, winning all team categories, three of four individual first places and five of 12 podium places
Two of our senior girls won the ADISR tennis championship without losing a single set
26 students and teachers participated in our 4th annual Mountain Marathon. 10 runners completed the entire 42km, which included 1200m of ascent and descent
“On the slopes, courts, sports fields, swimming pools and athletic tracks, Aiglon students regularly exceed expectations – winning the trophies and medals is just the icing on the cake.”
