79 VOLUNTEERS WITH LOCAL AREA REFUGEE CENTRES
SPIRIT
STUDENTS AND STAFF GAVE of their time and themselves to support those in need on our doorstep and around the world.
Students have been working with La Castalie Centre Médico-Educatif (Monthey) which offers education and professional training for those facing mental and physical challenges
Students raised approximately CHF 9,000 to support Round Square service projects
55 students helped plan and run the Round Square International Conference
Students travelled to Cambodia, Rwanda and Peru to participate in a variety of international service projects
Each boarding house raised CHF 1600 for two scholars at Starehe Boys’ and Starehe Girls’ Centres and Schools in Nairobi, Kenya, fully supporting over 12 students
Aiglon staff members donated over CHF 2,300 to support our scholarship students, helping provide funding for extra activities such as trips and music lessons
Within our local community, students volunteered at a whole range of events and for a huge number of activities, from the biannual Senior Lunch and Handiconcept ski duty to litter collection duties and reading with younger Préfleuri students
“Service is immensely satisfying and refreshing. The opportunities offered at Aiglon mould us into individuals concerned with more than just ourselves – people who can spark action and influence others.”
