Year 6 test their limits
Our Year 6 group were treated to a variety of action packed activities on the Isle of Anglesey at the Arete Centre, which is situated in Llanrug, from Monday, September 18 to Friday 22.
During the five-day residential each pupil got the chance to trek around some of the picturesque mountains of Snowdonia, and they also rafted through lakes and even explored underground slate mines.
The fearless group also took part in sea kayaking, rock climbing, scaling waterfalls and underground dinghy trips.
In addition pupils also got to investigate the local wildlife as part of number of educational projects devised by the centre staff.
Mr McLeod, who led the trip along with Mrs Pyves, said: “The pupils had a fantastic time and the amount of energy they had was great to see.
“The activities were really broad and they managed to test the pupils in a variety of ways, so it was a very fun and worthwhile experience for everybody concerned."
