Listening
We will encourage our pupils, their parents and all staff to speak freely and constructively about their school.
Pupils will have the opportunity to comment on their teachers and their attitudes to the school in order to assess our success in delivering a first-class education. We will have thriving School Councils, Food Forums & Boarders’ Forums for example and offer similar opportunities to the staff for their thoughts, feelings and opinions.
We will be a school which acts upon information and research rather than rumour and instinct. We will be second to none in our communication with and openness to parents. We will encourage and enable them to attend and engage with school life through regular communication and social media particularly through Twitter.
We seek similarly to embrace and engage our alumni in a host of activities both at the school and outside, in the United Kingdom and abroad. The Rydal Penrhos Society will be a thriving alumni body exceptionally supportive of current and recent pupils as they make their ways in the world.
