For Boarding parents
Some Miscellaneous Points
Letters should be addressed to the pupil and sent to the house address.
Parcels should be addressed to the pupil and sent to the school address.
All items of uniform, including shoes and personal property must be clearly marked with your child’s name and a supply of spare nametapes given to the HoM. It is preferable to use ‘sew on’ labels as others tend to come off in the wash.
The school will provide appropriate bedding. If they wish to do so, boarding pupils may bring their own duvet covers and pillowcases - two sets of duvet covers and pillowcases are required.
Most boarders will have their own mobile phone. Pupils also have access to a school phone in all boarding houses. In an emergency, parents or guardians can always communicate with boarders via the HoM. Mobile phones for pupils in Years 7-11 are stored overnight with HoMs.
