Autumn Term Extra-Curricular options
Getting involved with this workshop is a great way to acquire a vast range of skills from art and craft activities. Your creative juices will be flowing, fine motor skills are refined, confidence and problem-solving abilities are improved.
Pupils that wish to get an early start on their homework or just key in on some areas of their study that they wish to improve can do so during Monday's Prep Club, which will be supervised by members of Rydal Penrhos' dedicated teaching staff, who will be on hand to assist and aid each pupil with their progress.
Welcoming back Mr Leach as coach, pupils will benefit from his wealth of experience in coaching and playing the game.
This extra-curricular activity will include drills and games to develop technique and game awareness. Due to Covid-19 it is preferable that all players have their own gloves, which can be purchased from the PE Department.
Rydal Penrhos' exceptional outdoor education provision will be sampled by each member of the Year 7 group, who will gain new skills, sample different experiences and build a resistance for challenging situations.
This makes significant use of the beautiful North Wales landscape which is all part of a Rydal Penrhos education.
Senior pupils can develop the technical aspect of their footballing skills ahead of the competitive season, learn about different in-game situations and develop chemistry during this session with Dean Jones.
All drills will be held under social distancing measures in accordance with regulations from the Football Association of Wales.
Private Study time enables our Sixth Form pupils to get in some additional study in a relaxed and calming environment.
The session will be supported by a member of Rydal Penrhos' teaching staff, who will be on hand to offer any advice and support needed relating to their A Level subjects.
