For Year 7 and Year 12 pupils
Rydal Penrhos School will be offering four fully funded day places for prospective pupils entering Sixth Form and Year 7.
Executive Principal John Waszek and Senior School Head Sally Ann Harding, with the approval of the Governing Body, have confirmed that the four places in total are available for 2020 entry in September and applications are now being taken for anyone wishing to apply.
Year 7 places will be awarded based on Entrance Examination results and interview, with Year 12 Sixth Form places awarded on predicted GCSE grades and subsequent interview with a senior staff member during the assessment process.
This is a means tested scheme for families with a combined income of less than £30,000 per annum.
Anyone residing in North Wales is welcome to apply, and all applicants must attend a state school.
Two places have been allocated for Year 7 entry, with a further two set to be awarded for Year 12.
The deadline for applications is Friday 17 January, with Entrance Examinations to be held on Saturday 1 February.
Anyone wishing to apply for either the Year 7 of Year 12 Sixth Form places should contact Admissions Officer Jenny Marsden on admissions@rydalpenrhos.com or by calling 01492 530155.
