Pupil raises money for Ataxia UK
Gregor Perry successfully completed five Park Runs throughout the year in aid of Ataxia UK, raising £85 for the very worthy cause in the process.
In recognition of this superb achievement, the teenager received a special certificate from the charity, together with a letter of thanks. This was presented by Mr Waszek, much to Gregor’s surprise, on Wednesday, November 6.
Ataxia UK is a charity that is close to the heart of the Rydal Penrhos community, with former pupil Scarlett Salisbury suffering with the condition before passing away earlier this year.
Thousands of pounds have been raised since by the school from events such as the Charity Ball and the Creative and Performing Arts Dinner.
