From Head of Sixth Form Leah Crimes
Our Sixth Form programme is designed to bridge the gap between school and university study, and to mould our pupils into well-rounded young adults, ready to take their place in a global society.
We offer an inclusive Sixth Form experience that sets ‘excellence’ as its minimum standard. We have high expectations of our pupils in every aspect of their Sixth Form careers; not only in their academic studies, but also in their commitment to the extra-curricular life of the School.
In order to support our pupils on their path to success, we provide all Sixth Formers with individual attention in support of their specific needs. This is provided by subject teachers, a personal tutor, the Head of Sixth Form and the UCAS Coordinator.
Our Sixth Formers play an integral role in sustaining an ethos which is unique to Rydal Penrhos School. While a selected team of Senior Prefects contributes to the smooth running of the School day, all Sixth
Form pupils are expected to show leadership to younger pupils and to set the standard in terms of conduct and dress.
